Website Updates

Many  changes have been made to the website. Several pages were added to make it easier to find information. If you can't find what you are looking for it is probably in the documents tab.

The Teaching Chart and Parent Committees tab are especially important for all parents involved in Friday co-op to review. Almost as important is the Friday co-op tab and the parent duties tab. I know we are all busy but it is really important that you look over these pages.

Right now we need more parents to volunteer for committees, so if you aren't signed up for one yet please pick one and let us know. The committees with red lettering are the ones still needing parents.

And of course please sign up on the teaching chart if you haven't. You can also note days you aren't going to be able to attend in the last column of that chart, by putting your name in red there.

Roster Info Please

We need to get the roster for the year pulled together. If you are planning on attending Friday co-op, please email us with the following information so we can finalize plans. Even if you aren't going to attend on Friday, it would be nice to have the information too!

Changes......and Requests

Haven't even started the year yet and we have changes. The calendar is going to change because rooms were not available at SEAS for all the dates. I will post when our revised schedule is out.

School picture information is coming very soon.....just have to write the post.

And now for requests......we are asking everyone to help out with teaching the Adventures in Learning classes during co-op. Every one of us has skills to teach on some subject that the kids will enjoy, yes, even you!

What is the year going to look like?

Our planning meeting last night was very fruitful. We managed to pretty much get all the important decision making done. Until official minutes are available, here are some highlights.

We will continue to meet for co-op activities on Friday afternoons. Our exact time is not set yet as we gather a little more information, but it will be close to 1:30 to 4:30pm. Dues have not been set yet, but they are unlikely to increase this year.

The big change is the calendar for the year.

Meeting Location Change

SEAS is cleaning floors in the area we were going to meet in, so they changed our meeting rooms.

We will meet in the large cafeteria, and the nursery will be in the preschool room.

It would probably be best to enter the doors on the south side of the building, that enter into the new school addition....the ones that also have a canopy.

Planning Meeting Soon

Mark your calendars to attend the planning meeting on Monday the 16th of August, from 6-9pm, in the SEAS Adult Ed room. Nursery will be provided.

This meeting is for all parents with any interest at all in any of the activities we do throughout the year. We will be discussing our Friday co-op time, as well as our other activities that are available to all whether they join us on Friday or not.

We hope to have lots of parents attending, with lots of input on what they want for the coming year. See you there!
